Thank you as well for the praise! It’s been not long since I’ve been doing Illustrator projects and I’m starting to get somewhat of a hang of it. Was gonna use a standard elongated bullet, but the confluence of lines was showing up odd behind it. The system needs one badly…right now it’s very north/south centric with almost all rides trying to cross town having to go through downtown no matter what.Īnd yes, I also think the Carrollton cube is a bit on the odd side lol. I really do wonder if there’s any near “perfect” place for a east/west connection. In the past, LBJ definitely had enough median right of way to where you could fit a line in there but now with the expansions, any line past there would have to be below grade or underground at least to like Alpha/Coit. The Brown Line past like LBJ/Skillman is definitely a logistical challenge. I was also thinking initially of routing such a new line to the south instead and using the lines near DART’s CROF facility to link with the Green around MLK Jr or so. I originally considered making the West Dallas and Scyene Rd branches part of their own line, but then you’d get the same three line logjam down Pacific that D2 is trying to eliminate. Also maybe changing the Orange Line being weekday peak only up to Parker Rd to every day could work. Dallas DART Map Texas Subway Map Light Rail Map Metro Train Rail Line Art.

If I remember correctly, some of the more recent planning docs for D2 option 37-a include a additional insert train on the Red Line to address the overtaxing issue. Download this stock image: Dallas Area Rapid Transit DART D.A.R.T.
